I have more SSD’s on hand though, but anyways, does this help prolong the shelf-life of my devices? I also store them in a cool dry place, but I just want to double up to prolong them. And even plug and play them once in a while just to prevent data rotting. But I would like to hear from other people’s opinion if this can help and/or who has experience doing what I was asking for?
I really fear data-rotting and I know, some will be inevitable, but atleast, preventing them is better than cure, which is highly unlikely to cure a hardware failure.
Hopefully, somebody can give me a in-depths insight, suggestions, and whatnot, I am very open to learning anything! And thank you in advance!
Do you store it in RAID? That should be sufficient to keep your data safe
