Hi,
I am about to undergo a major change in my home NAS configuration moving from a RAID ext4 config to a ZFS filesystem with TrueNAS.
I need temporary storage for my data (~45TB) -> excluding upload & download time, I estimate this to be 1-2 days. Is there a solution out there I can use?
Buy a few 16 or 20tb external drives on a credit card from a local store, use them, then return them. It’s morally grey renting.
Could rent a hetzner storage box for a month and transfer to cloud, reconfigure, then transfer back. That’s what I did for my 150 TB server. If you have symmetrical upload and no data cap
No worries, I got you! “Slow and steady wins the race.”

If you want something in the cloud you could use Cloudflare R2, there is no ingress or egress fees and is billed daily ($15/TB/Month) so is you store your data for 3 days it would be about $70
