I inventory all my notable possessions using Homebox so at the very least my family knows the value of all my gear. I don’t expect them to preserve most of the data on my servers (there’s little reason for them to) so I just have documentation on how to access what they’ll need to settle my affairs and sanitize anything further containing private data/records.
