Xiaomi has opened pre-orders on JD.com for its first NAS, the Xiaomi Smart Storage, ahead of its August 27 sale date. The compact two-bay unit also doubles as a smart home hub and supports direct camera recording and backups of Xiaomi phones.

A NAS constantly phoning home about literally everything i do?? Yeah no thanks.

They literally made a computer monitor with android so it can phone home.
