When it says “anonymized” it means that whatever would be stored doesn’t contain information that directly relates back to you. For an example instead of relating the data to you via username or email they’ll use an UUID (ie. @hai@lemmy.ml become d9ef9b1b-c0f3-4ced-88e1-e84b2751fad5, and at some point this ID is related back to the user for whenever they open up the Google Play Store).
