Ok so I’m having a really difficult time figuring out which set-up I should go with and what will work best for my particular home.

Details: 4 floor townhome (garage, living room/kitchen, bedrooms, rooftop deck). There are (2) ceiling mounted pre-wired AP location on floors 2 & 3 so a total of (4). There are also Ethernet ports for the bedrooms. The networking “hub” is located in the garage where the ISP fiber connection was put.

Now to break down what I have planned for Unifi and Omada.

Unifi: ISP Modem——>Dream Router ——>(2) U6+ AP’s [One on floor 2 and one in the opposite corner on floor 3]——>(2) additional hardwired ethernets for the bedrooms.

Omada: ISP Modem——>Omada ER7212PC——>(2) EAP650 AP’s [One on floor 2 and one in the opposite corner on floor 3]——>(2) additional hardwired ethernets for the bedrooms.

I would recommend UniFi as I use it at home and its rock solid. Going the UniFi route here will mean that you get a 3rd Wi-Fi AP since the UDR has a built in Wi-Fi 6 AP. Just note that the UDR only is good for 700mbit or below internet.
