The white plug to the left is in my network panel in my closet and I have no idea what it is for? It’s also secured in place with a zip so I don’t want to mess with it until I know what it is for.

    I’m just guessing, but based on the cable that comes out of it it might be POE (Power over Ethernet).

    You could always unplug it and see what happens.

      The cable that comes out of it is clearly a two-wire red and black conductor. It is not poe
