Hello, I have recently upgraded to a spectrum gigabit plan and have decided that its time for a new router. This is because currently I have a 3 year old WIFI 5 linksys velop which is terrible. I have my computer in the basement which is directly under where my modem/main node is, but there are floors and walls between it, making the connection difficult because my house was built in the 1970s. I use the mesh system as a router, and dont have any routers since the mesh is my router, as ive found that spectrums routers are terrible. The current mesh im running right now cuts out every 30 minutes, and completely shuts down and restarts after downloading a game for around 2 minutes at 24 Megabytes / Second. With my current mesh, a speed test is getting me 200mb/s download. Mind you that I have a node plugged into the modem, and then one in my computer room plugged directly into my computer and im getting 200mb/s. I feel this is very low for a gigabit connection, and I should be getting not only faster wifi but more download speed then this current mesh is providing me.

Can someone who understands internet please help me out on the best mesh system for my situation that can deliver at the minimum 500mb-1gb/s download? I am a big gamer so i am also looking for something that can deliver low ping, but I guess that comes down to coax/fiber. Ive been looking and the Eero Pro 6 3 pack is looking pretty good.

Can anyone comment and help me with my situation please!
