I have a home office with a windows server, NAS etc. How can I split my network so that my smart TV is not able to scan my file share ? Preferably also to keep the IOT devices separate.
My router just died so need to buy a new one. Now would be a great time to learn how to do this please. Thank you.
Vlan capable switches and routers. So layer 2 switch will allow you to assign each switch port to its own vlan which will allow you to isolate the traffic. You will need either 2 separate Wi-Fi’s or vlan capable wifi.
