    My friend says it may be a wide sfp. Some switches have a variant of a sfp that is about 2 times wider than a standard sfp…

    Definitely Fiber like others pointed out, and it may be woth it to see what’s behind the covers next to the wall plate. If CAT 5 is available, and you have a Fiber internet provider, you could have Excellent speeds to wherever the CAT5 drops.
