    I’d check out an Arris Surfboard 3.1 modem + router. You’ll get more out of it in the long run. And once you own it, you can change ISP’s without having to pay for equipment.

    No, that modem is puma6 based, you will probably experience latency issues and it won’t be a good experience. Docsis 3.0 is outdated anyways, especially ones with 16 channels. It wouldn’t be fast.

    The arris sb8200 is 60 dollars on Amazon, however, keep in mind you will need a router too. It will be a night and day difference.
