Would like to ask:

Im planning to get Mikrotik CRS305-1G-4S+IN for my NAS and PC 10g upgrade.
The question here my backbone connection to the router is a mesh.

    |- NAS via sfp+
    |- PC via sfp+

Would that defeat the purpose of getting 10g networking? Does this setup worth it?

We need to know the model of mesh and if it’s 6e. Even with 6e, max throetical link speed is like 9600mbps, and that’s not realistically attainable. Assuming perfect real world conditions, you might get lucky to get half that.

Do you need 10G through is actuality? Your setup will definitely get you better than 1G performance (assuming no bottleneck with the NAS).
