Am I doing it right? Thoughts on this vs whatever Spectrum gives me?

Spectrum’s modems are actually great. All you need really is your own router.
the modems they provide are trash and use the intel puma chipsets even to this day
I have that modem and Spectrum 300Mbps. It has been flawless for me since I hooked it up. It runs 24/7 without a hitch. I reboot it every week or 2 for the heck of it but has never faltered. I use it with an Asus RT-AX86U Pro. I’m very satisfied with my setup.
