I was wondering if it was normal to have 20 active/in queue. I recently had a huge malware problem on my network and I’m trying to figure out what happened.

Please let me know if there’s anything sus I should check for on my modem/router.

Not really sure what you mean by “I have 20”. If you are concerned, doing a factory reset might solve the issue of there is something weird and someone was able to get into your network.

If you never update your router, you should probably start with that. Not using default passwords would also be smart.

TLDR: Clear out any QoS settings or factory reset. Update. Don’t use default passwords

Sorry for late reply. The router is so old that the company that made it doesn’t exist anymore. It belongs to family, so I have no power or say on what happens to it and I’m not taken seriously.

Thank you for your response, I really appreciate it. In Qos, I mean it says it has: 20 queue active and 20 rules active.

No idea what it means, tbh but there is no firmware upgrade that exists fot the thing. It’s only about 5 years old.

Update the firmware pronto to the latest version. You don’t know if the hacker left access in the source.
