I have a Netgear Nighthawk R7000 and I cannot play Halo Infinite or destiny 2. I am getting the following error messages.
Halo Infinite
“Couldn’t find suitable datacenters for members of your fireteam. This could be due to network or latency issues.” On halo infinite which I believe is from my router blocking certain information from Xbox servers.
Side note for Halo infinite this issue only happens on computers on my home network. The game functions normally on my xbox one. I have a desktop running windows 10 connected via ethernet and a laptop running windows 11 via wifi and they both dont work on Halo servers.
Destiny 2
Error Code Cabbage which happens when when router settings block communications to or from Destiny services.
I’ve tried port forwarding and calling my ISP for help but to no avail.
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated thanks.
Not the answer to your problem, but personally having dealt with connectivity issues originating from my router, specifically while gaming- The only thing that truly worked 100% for me was factory resetting my router and starting over with the configs, testing along the way to determine where along the line the disruption is stemming from.
That router specifically is what made me go small office route with my network and have a dedicated router, switch, and wireless access point. I got tired of diagnosing weird Internet problems but after setting up my network I pretty much eliminated any need to troubleshoot my network since it’s been rick solid ever since. Some knowledge of setting up networking was nice to have so I could do that.
