Mainly due to cool stuff just poof and gone from internet.
It paid off several times now, sadly some cool stuff from 2012-2014 is lost as I wasn’t a big brain genie (YouTube videos mostly, Lucky some got re-uploaded like Claude’s birthday (GTA gmod thing) so that’s nice, but as for others it’s like forever gone thanks to YouTube suspending that channel a year ago and it’s clearly abandoned, rip)
Not the first time that happened. Sort of started hoarding in 2015, but skyrocketed around 2018, then the only HDD I had died with 249 hours usage (powered on, owned it for 15 months, just transferring data into it once a month) so currently have better strategy of backups too (also using clouds more)
