23 hours agoSorry, I mis-represented my case! From my light research, MoCA is a device that enables ethernet to go through a coaxial cable. There will be a MoCA on the outside to convert ethernet to coax and in the inside another MoCA to convert the coax to ethernet.
Yes. The ONT will be outside the house. But, I need the Fiber-to-ethernet media converter there, too! Then a MoCA adapter so that I can use the coax cable from my former Direct TV service to bring the Internet inside the house, then, inside the house will be another MoCA adapter to convert the coax to ethernet to my router! This is my plan because there is no way I can bring fiber into the house. My network closet is in the opposite side of the house from where the ONT will installed.
