I have the Google nest pro 6e coming in today and currently have a nighthawk router/modem combo. I am not good with this stuff at all so should I “bridge” my current system to make it just a modem? Not sure if that’s the correct term or even possible, I think it was it was.
Should I just leave it as is and connect everything to the new router and just let the current 2.4/5ghz just kind of hangout with nothing connected or would it be better to figure out to “disconnect” my current wifi bands?

In my case, I disabled the WiFi from my router and set up the mesh WiFi in its place, with its SSID and password. That way, I had a seamless transition for all my devices
