Hi All,

I’ll be travelling to India for approx month and will be working from my hotel majority of the time. Please could you advise on a travel router that would Most likely be used for the whole trip.

Looking to spend ~$40/$50 if possible . I.e. TP-Link WR902AC Would this be fine to use for the whole duration? Or is it likely to overheat/stop working if used for long periods?

We will have approx 5/6 devices connected 2 laptops, 2 phones, chromecast w Google tv and maybe a tablet

VPN is not necessary as I have it available on all of the devices which need it.

I have that travel router and like it a lot. It offers some great features like MAC address spoofing. In my situation, WiFi was available but only to three devices per paid account. My friend had an extra slot so I added my phone MAC address and I spoofed it on the router. The router connected and rebroadcasted the WiFi under my own private SSID.

Mine never overheated but I was in a climate controlled room. Will you have that in India?

Mine was on 24/7 for about three weeks total with no issues.
