i installed a new broadband rto my house with a 1gb download speed and im not even getting 1mbps

if anyone could give some advice id appreciate it

Can’t help much without knowing your setup. Do you just have the ISP provided modem? Is there anything between that and your computer, e.g. a switch or a personally owned router?

Have you tried swapping any cables?
